Thurstan College 1990 big match victories cricket team has sponsored for the colored players kits for 2015/ 2016 college cricket team. Also handed over 2015/ 2016 cricket fixture cards on 21st September, 2015 at Principal’s office.
The kits handed over by Mr. Nishantha Dias (1990 Captain) to the Principal and Principal handed over to 2015/ 2016 captain, Charana Nanayakkara.
Fixture card was handed over by Charana Nanayakkara to Principal.

A Special General Meeting of Thurstan Rugby Club (TRC) will be held at 6
p.m. on Sunday the 13th September 2015, at the Thurstan College Sports

Committee invites all TRC members as well as other old Thurstanites who
wish to support

Three Thurstanites Sayod Lakshan, Sachith Chandula & Shashi Vinod will be participating for 23rd World Scout Jamboree. The largest youth event and the largest scouting event in the world will be held on 28th July to 8th August, 2015 in Yamaguchi, Japan with over 40000 scouts and girl guides from 166 countries. Our heartiest congratulations to three Thurstanites.
INVOIRA ’15 The Annual Science Day organized by the Science Society of Thurstan College, scheduled to be held on 26th June 2015 from 2.00 pm onwards at the college main hall. The purpose of this event is to uplift the awareness of science among students.
There will be on award ceremony for the winners of the annual science quiz which hend on 19th June 2015. The chief guest will be our honorable distinguished old boy Prof. Sudantha Liyanage.
