The 20th Annual General Meeting of the Junior Old Boys Union of Thurstan College was held on 13th July 2013 at the college auditorium. The function commenced by lighting the traditional oil lamp by the Guest of Honour Proud Thurstanite Managing Director LOLC Stock Brokers/Securities Mr. Sriyan Gurusinghe, President of the Junior OBU/Thurstan College Principal Col. A D M D Bandara, Advisory Committee Members and Office Bearers.
The event was successfully concluded while appointing a new committee for the period of 2013-2014 with a variety of Old Boys in attendance.
There were 11 members appointed to the Ex. Committee from among the members of the previous Committee and 20 other members for the Committee and 5 members for the Standby Committee from the General Membership.
