Providing clothing and dried  food  to  the displaced  personnel  at Wawniya .

Helping the  students at Ranwelagam,  Dehiattakandiya  school.

Helping the flood  victims on June 2003 at Rathnapura.

Organizing the Wesak day  religious  ceremonies such as Buddhist Sermons and helping the poor

Membership Of Buddhist Society

Every Buddhist child in the College is entitled for the membership of the society. Depending on their leadership and organizing ability, students are selected to the working committee of the society. Every year applications are called from Grade 12 students. After an interview suitable students are selected to the working committee for a period of one year.

 

Goals

To organize, encourage, and to train the Buddhist students of the school.

To practice Buddhism, and to follow Buddhist cultural activities.

To direct the students towards social service activities and to take part in social work
