Twenty one senior lawyers were appointed as President’s Counsel (PC) by President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the President’s House yesterday.
They newly appointed PCs are: M. Sittampalam, Dulinda Weerasuriya, R. Lakshman Perera, Ronald C Perera, Prashanta Lal de Alwis, K.V. Nihal Jayawardana, Shammil J. Perera, S.M. Kushan de Alwis, Kalinga N. Indatissa, R. Shanaka Ranasingha, S. Harsha Amarasekara, Nalin Ruchira Ladduwahetti, Maithree Evan Wickramasingha, Priyantha Jayawardana, Prasanna Sujeewa Jayawardana, Chandana Liyanapatabendi, Uditha Priyanga Igalahewa, Sanjeewa Praneeth Jayawardana, Faiszer Musthapha, Kuvera de Soyza and M.U.M. Ali Sabry.
