Thurstan College organize a motor parade as ?Thurstan Motor Parade (K)night on Wheels 2012? is schedule to be held on Saturday 1st December, 2012 at 13.00 Hrs. from school premises.
This is to coincide with the 63rd Founders day which is scheduled to be celebrated on January 11th 2013 where all arrangements have been made to lay a foundation stone for the Hostel and Canteen project.
This parade is also a fund raiser to complete the Gymnasium and a state of the art Auditorium with seating capacity of 275 seats.

The patron of the motor parade is His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksha, who will lead the parade. Organizing committee invite all school boys and their parents to participate in this event and also as many old boys of different vintage and to date.

ONLINE REGISTRATION
You can pay your registration fee to OBU account ?People’s Bank, Thimbirigasyaya branch account number 086100281189908 and the copy of receipt scan and email to [email protected] within 24 hrs. We will send you the confirmation notice with registration number. You could collect the ticket from OBU secretariat showing proof of confirmation notice on date of the event.
When you are writing the name and address on the bank slip, please write the reason as ?Thurstan Motor Parade 2012? on ?Purpose? column under the bank slip.
We will be expecting more than plus 1000 vehicles and 600 Motor Bikes for this Parade. In between there will be few elephants dressed with Sponsors logos.
